Equine Health Maintenance is an ambulatory practice focused on providing high-quality service and client satisfaction - we will do everything we can to provide affordable care for your equine companion. A native New Orlean, Dr. Dina Duplantis graduated in 1992 from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Before acceptance into the veterinary program, she attended the University of New Orleans ('86-'88) to pursue her undergraduate studies in the biological sciences.

Bitten by the horse bug at a young age, Dr. Duplantis became an accomplished rider in several disciplines. Involvement in such organizations as the 4-H and United States Pony Club only fueled an already burning desire to work with horses. Due to the dramatic growth of her ambulatory practice, Dr. Duplantis decided to leave the University after fourteen years and enter private practice full-time. Her passion and commitment to horses is every bit as strong as her desire to help the people that own these magnificent creatures.

The practice encompasses an approximately 45 mile range. Our goal is to provide convenient, affordable care for your equine companion. As a result, a high percentage of our business is from repeat customers and referrals.

Although Dr. Duplantis is a mobile practitioner, there is a clinic available for in-house services, reproductive work and lay-ups.
